FCC Industrial has won the contract for the burying of the medium voltage power line in the “Las Tablas de Daimiel” National Park, in Ciudad Real.

It is a strategic contract that will improve the bird habitat of “Las Tablas de Daimiel”. This project has been in great demand by conservation organizations and the management of the wetland. The execution period is three months.

The power line goes through “Tablas de Daimiel” and is extremely dangerous for birds. It is located in the “Dehesa del Quinto de la Torre”, a site acquired by the Autonomous National Parks Agency in November 2011 and thanks to the environmental wealth it holds, was part of the extension of the wetland approved by the Council of Ministers on 10 January 2014.
