FCC Construcción and FCC Industrial have participated in the X Railway Innovation Congress, organized by the University of Extremadura.

Innovative railway experiences were shared in the event in its various fields: infrastructure, facilities, rolling stock, auxiliary material, operation, maintenance and safety.

The objective of this meeting is based on sharing as well as publicizing the latest innovations and innovative projects in the railway sector, fostering relationships between the agents involved: most relevant companies in the sector (construction and installation), administrations and railway concessionaires, and especially universities, to achieve the rapport between the world of teaching and that of the company, dealing with innovative issues from various complementary approaches.

The meeting brought together personalities such as the Mobility, Transportation and Housing Minister of the Junta de Extremadura, the General Director of Transportation. Junta de Extremadura, as well as different personalities from the academic and business world.

FCC Construcción participated in the presentation “life impact zero. project for the protection of birds in high-speed rail lines ”.

FCC Industrial, for its part, participated in the exhibition “ventilation system of the tunnel of the line-5 of the riad metro and its monitoring and control (tunnel monitoring and control system)”.
