FCC Industrial has been awarded the maintenance contract for air-conditioning systems, fire prevention systems and water treatment facilities at Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport for a period of three years. The contract is worth more than €6 million euros and involves preventive, corrective and predictive facility maintenance.

Winning this contract once again demonstrates the specialist experience of the industrial projects division of FCC, the Citizen Services Group, in the field of airport maintenance in addition to other contracts awarded by the Spanish Airports and Air Navigation network, AENA. It currently provides services in terminals T1 and T2 of Barcelona-El Prat Airport, in Son San Joan Airport (Palma de Mallorca) and in the Air Traffic Control Centre for the South Region (Seville).

With this contract, FCC Industrial reinforces its position in the sector, where it provides services in low voltage works, air-conditioning systems, and centralised management systems. The company is also working on other projects which are underway and which require a high level of specialisation and a solid technological know-how, with which it enhances energy saving, improves the efficiency of air-conditioning systems and promotes centralised management of airport facilities.
