El resultado neto atribuible en el primer trimestre del año alcanzó los 72,4 millones de euros, un 43,9% superior a los 50,3 millones de euros del ejercicio anterior, debido en gran medida a la reducción de gasto financiero y a la mayor aportación de las sociedades participadas y asociadas.
In 2018 FCC obtained a net attributable profit totalling €251.6M, which is a 113.2% increase compared to the €118M obtained in 2017. This was essentially due to the good performance of operating activities, the reduction in financial expenses and the larger contribution from investee and associated companies.
Throughout 2018, the FCC Group has accomplished many achievements. To this end, FCC has prepared a video with a compilation of the Group's and its business areas' highlights during the year.
FCC Industrial has been classified as a finalist in the prestigious NCE (New Civil Engineer) awards, in the Innovation Operator category, with its Optiport innovation project. Next March 23rd, the project will be defended before a committee of experts, with the aim of being winners of the prize.
