FCC Industrial is making progress on the construction of the grid-connection substations for the solar farms currently being built in the Cofrentes area (Valencia) by Iberdrola Renovables. 

A 400/132 kV substation is being built, featuring a 360 MVA autotransformer, which collects the energy from the PV farms at 132 kV and steps it up to 400 kV, as well as a 400 kV metering substation, with the unique feature that this facility has been built on the grounds of the Cofrentes Nuclear Power Station itself.
