FCC Industrial has been awarded the contract to build the Santa Lucia Civic Centre in Cáceres. The new centre will have a floor area of around 1,000 square metres and will feature modern facilities, including an auditorium with a capacity for 150 people, a children’s play area, a café, a viewing point and a multi-purpose exhibition hall serving the whole city. The project will make extensive use of industrial prefabrication, which will help to reduce construction times. 

It will be a versatile, modern, well-lit and fully accessible building, with two floors connected by a lift, and the new and old buildings will be linked by a garden. The building will occupy the entire block where the old town hall is located. The town hall has been preserved, but the rest of the structures have been demolished.

With this contract, FCC Industrial is committing to industrialised construction, innovation and the delivery of projects with a high degree of technical specificity.
