FCC Industrial has been one of the companies awarded contracts to build Endesa's high-power (HPC) electric vehicle charging stations. This contract includes the development of the electrical infrastructure necessary for connection to the distribution network: medium-voltage (MV) lines, switching centres, transformer stations, among others.

The HPC charging infrastructure will generally consist of the electrical infrastructure necessary to connect the station to the electricity distribution network, the installation of the switching centre, the installation of the transformer station, the construction of the MV line, the low-voltage electrical infrastructure and the installation of the electric vehicle charging station (or stations).

The lots awarded are those corresponding to Castilla La Mancha, Madrid, Cáceres, Castilla y León, Valencia and Murcia.

With the award of this contract, FCC Industrial becomes a leading company in the development of electric mobility infrastructure. It joins the ongoing project for the PowerCo gigafactory in Sagunto, Valencia. Within the Sagunto battery manufacturing plant, the contracted works and activities are essential and key to the development of the plant itself, which covers an area of more than 130,000 square metres and is one of the largest industrial battery plants in Spain and among the most important in Europe.
