The Castilla y León Institute of Technology is a private, not-for-profit organisation, established in 1989 and accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.

We carry out our own R&D projects and collaborate with companies at national and international level; we develop prototypes and provide high value-added innovation support services for SMEs.

We offer advanced technological services and collaborate with numerous companies on the design and implementation of applied research, technological development and innovation projects that are both technically and economically viable.

The ITCL develops tools derived from research into Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, electronic design and embedded systems applied to industrial manufacturing and maintenance processes, smart infrastructure, electric mobility and digital health, as well as energy modelling, virtual reality applied to high-performance simulators and cyber-physical systems.

The Technical Road Association (ATC) was established with a dual objective: to host and support the Spanish Committee of the World Road Association (PIARC), and to serve as a neutral, independent, and objective forum for meeting and collaboration among public authorities, professionals, and companies to discuss and address technical, economic, and social issues related to roads.

The ATC is actively engaged in the transfer and dissemination of road technology, relying on Technical Committees, the RUTAS journal, and specialized training activities aimed at all professionals working in the road sector; to this end, it collaborates with universities, research centers, industry and academic associations, and renowned professionals.

Since its inception, the Spanish Road Association (AEC) has been working to defend and promote roads. Its primary objective has been, and continues to be, to achieve a road network that is safer, more sustainable, of higher quality, and more intelligent and technologically advanced.

Throughout its history, the Association has sought to adapt its activities to the social and economic changes that have taken place over time. Consequently, its current activities focus on the fields of digitalisation, connectivity, electrification, sustainability, decarbonisation, road safety, urban mobility and the quality of infrastructure services.

In relation to these areas of work, the AEC carries out numerous technical, training and public awareness activities: studies and research, conferences, seminars, training courses, the publication of reports, public information campaigns, and the exchange of information and documentation with similar institutions worldwide, etc.

All of this is carried out in collaboration with various public sector bodies, companies and other federations and associations of various kinds.

The Foundation for Technological Development and Innovation (Funditec) is a non-profit technology center based in Madrid. Funditec plays a key role in the technology development value chain, delivering sustainable and secure R&D projects to its clients and industrial partners in line with current economic and social needs. Funditec develops innovative projects at its own laboratory facilities across three strategic areas: Advanced Materials, Cybersecurity, and Agri-food.

UPM is a university deeply committed to industry collaboration and technology transfer. In support of this mission, the International R&D&i Projects Office (OPI UPM) strives to consolidate an innovation ecosystem that fosters both public-private cooperation (involving large and small enterprises) and public-public cooperation (involving government bodies, other universities, or non-profit organizations). To this end, OPI UPM facilitates connections with other entities, provides advisory services to private-sector companies, and promotes the establishment of stable strategic partnerships.
